James has spent over 25 years working at leading private equity, venture capital and family office firms. He serves on the Boards of NextPhase Medical Devices, Colerain Family RV & Young Audiences. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of MOGUL and Mission:Restore. James co-founded Left Tackle Capital in 20xx with the mission to change the demographics and culture of asset management by supporting funds led by women and minorities.
James has a Ph.D. in International Economics from Columbia University, a B.A. from Baylor University, and a Certificate on Monetary and Fiscal Policy from the Japanese Ministry of Finance. He is Co-Author of Rocka My Soul, the story of the 1981 Jack Yates Lions, the first All African-American football team to breakthrough and make it to the Texas state championship.
